Description

Tap @ Oirschot Beer Fesival. Hazy yellow to orange with a medium, creamy white head. Smells malty, herbs, dusty. Tastes quite bitter, malts, herbs and spices. Quite light, nice carbo.

Draught @ Oirschot Bierfestival. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, some kind of grains, some weirdness and a little bitter. Hmm, not impressed at all though I really love this brewery. Guess it’s probably the beerstyle i dislike.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Dark brown with a pinkish white head. Mince pies, cherries and almonds in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and moderately sweet taste with cherries, strawberry jam and fruitcake. The sweetness is ’lagom’ and it’s a very enjoyable beer.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has a herbal touch, cautious hints of grapefruit, tangerine, also a touch of garlic. Taste is minimally bitter herbal hoppy, minimally citrusy, the strange garlic note is present again - I’m note sure if this is intended.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Amber color, hazy. Uneven white head, sticky. Aroma’s: in the nose very sweet, sweet fruits, caramel malt, sweet spices, orange peel. Retronasal there’s much more hoppiness, a bit earthy and acidic, and the sweetness is much less. Flavor is medium sweet with some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with some caramel.

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. As ’’Hop NZ Pacific Gem’’. Poours cloudy gold with a large, white foam head. Sweet, dry pale malt nose, some hay. Light to medium sweet flavor, more hay and simple pale malts. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish with a bit of dried hay bitterness and still more lightly bready pale malts. Very simple.
