Can to tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a quickly dissipating head that didn't leave any lace
Aroma: funky to wheaty to nectarine skin to woody and foresty; tart to sour notes, good soured-wheat
Flavor: blends the previously noted aromas to a fine sour to tart quality; subtle sweetness underneath; finishes tart and semi-vinous
Texture: light bodied but leaning towards being a sipper; smooth? eh, not so much as the tart and sour tones do provide a nice pucker quality
Overall: nice sour ale worthy of coming back to.

Can to tulip.
But actually since I just posted the review of Exilis, I'll just say this.
The raspberries add a nice eventful sweet and tart character to the aroma and the flavor; and the texture to me is basically the same as Exilis.
And I can get behind this beer too as the raspberries do not really change much of the base.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy pale yellow color with a quickly dissipating semi-foamy head that didn't leave any lace.
Aroma: gin barrel botanicals top off light citrusy to floral notes and a sour-ed wheaty vibe, some lime and some earthy to funky tones
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a nice funky twang to tart and sour character, ever so slight touch of sweet underneath; finishes semi-dry, crisp and fully sour
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; smooth on the tongue with the twang/tart push against the tongue with the bite I expected it to provide
Overall: now we're talking! Here's a Berliner Weisse by an American brewer that truly gets the style!

Can to chalice.
Appearance: dark amber color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bourbon barrel-ish tones over top of some nutty to caramel character; light grape notes and other muddled dark fruits, subtle acidic/vinous/sour edges
Flavor: meshes the previously noted aromas to a fine sour to sweet quality; finishes somewhat woody, caramel and dark fruity
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also some vinous aggression to the tongue
Overall: though I'm not really a wine drinker I liked the fact that the bourbon seemed more pronounced so I believe I could come back to this.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: herbal tea, cracker/biscuity malts, grassy hops; floral hops and a little bit of cereal/sweet grains
Flavor: blends the previously mentioned aromas to a fine bitter quality like an English Bitter should be; finishes with the herbal tea, cracker/biscuity malts and a touch of the floral hops
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to light bodied; sessionable; good smoothness about this one
Overall: I say a nice English Bitter and would be a good one with some fish n' chips.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: sweet peachy flesh, thyme and sweet wheat
Flavor: takes the previously mentioned aromas and adds a little bit of salt to it and then finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, pretty sessionable; sturdy smoothness along the tongue and the salt or wheat does not distract to allow this beer to flow freely
Overall: nice APWA that seems to be designed to be a thirst quencher on a hot day which I believe I would want this again most likely next to my grill.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-bright yellow color with a quickly dissipating foamy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: wet grains, white pears, light Brett, light lemons, some lacto, light bready notes
Flavor: encompasses a nice blend of the prior noted aromas in a sour to tart to sweet sort of way; finishes sour and tart with the pears, lemons and Bretty tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; plenty of tart to sour aggression on the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done sour ale I could return to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: pale yellow to orange color with a quickly dissipating head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: green apple, lemon, extra bright citrusy tones, slight funk, earthy and dusty floral tones
Flavor: sour and tart up front with a light sweet jolly rancher type of aspect underneath; finishes sour, tart, lemony and earthy
Texture: light to medium bodied, great sipper; light smoothness but good unyielding tart aggression, the pucker factor is here! (I expected that)
Overall: I say a pretty nicely done sour ale that seems to bring a subtle "old school" pucker factor to it. I'd return to this.

Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: semi-cloudy copper color with an ever so slight transparency about it and a finger's worth of white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then leave some light sliding lace.
Aroma: the normal banana, clove, bubblegum and sweet wheaty tones of a hefeweizen; however, light grassy & citrusy to floral hops slide in for an odd yet fairly good sort of way
Flavor: seems to mesh the previously noted aromas fairly nice in a sweet to spicy to earthy and wheaty sort of manner; finishes citrusy hoppy and wheaty with the bubblegum, clove as the banana seems a lot fainter here
Texture: medium to full bodied, sessionable; smooth along the tongue and the kick of wheat tangy-ness (maybe not as sharp as a true Hefeweizen but it's there)
Overall: I just wonder out loud - is this supposed to be that "Hopfenweisse" style? I'm not exactly sure but to me, this one seems to lean that way and yes, I would return to this beer.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow / almost orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bright citrusy to floral hop notes round out the edges of a clean biscuity malt bill with sweet grains
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to bittersweet arrangement; finishes with the sweet grains, biscuity malts and citrusy hops
Texture: between light and medium bodied; sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue, some dryness
Overall: nicely done pilsner that seems to be a bit modernized. I would come back to this.
