16oz @ Matt's new place. Appearance: cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma: pretty nice bugs, malty backbone, some grainy character. Taste: along the same lines with probably some rhubarb notes and lactic notes. Overall: pleasant enough.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Derek & JF; stamped 2022/04/14). Slightly hazed pale gold with small white head. Very light and simple table beer with just a subtle underlying rhubarb character. Nothing over the top, simple, but decent. Prefer the framboise version, still a decent table beer.

473mL can, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is gentle earthy, with subtle tangy rhubarb and some light rustic saison yeast notes. Flavour is full of tart rhubarb, earthiness, light acidity, the tiniest hint of phenols, and a hint of rustic notes. Earthy, lightly tart and lacking depth.

16oz @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: rose-ish golden with a white head. Aroma: nice funk, tart, some raspberries. Taste: along the same lines, with not much sophisticated tannins and woody character coming in the finish. Overall: yes, it is a bottom line of the Robin beers, but it is quite enjoyable.

(750ml 2021 bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours clear pale amber with a decent eggshell head and a little lace. Aroma is fairly sweet and reminiscent of apple preserves with a dash of maple syrup, round ripe fruity/citrusy esters, lightly spicy wood, soft lactic acidity, some bready malt, not heavily Belgian. Flavour is much less sweet than the nose would suggest, cider-like with a soft to moderate lactic tartness, soft citrusy fruitiness, maple without much sugar, soft spicebox/wood tones, somewhat crisp actually with a little roundness from the malt, cleaning lactic apple-forward finish with a little maple/wood and soft bitterness. Medium-bodied, oily, bottle-conditioned carbonation, alcohol largely hidden. Interesting and unique wild ale, not much like a tripel in the classic sense which is fine for me, unsurprisingly cider-ish but definitely distinctly beer.

Can: Poured a reddish color ale with a medium foamy head with light retention and minor lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some fresh raspberry notes and light funky ester. Taste is a mix of tart raspberry notes with some tart notes and faint funky ester. Body is light with good carbonation. Well balanced mix of raspberry and light funk.
