Unclear medium yellow - amber to orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, overriped fruit, citrs - orange, grape, fresh fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration, grape. fresh, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100912]

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours cloudy brown with a medium, off-white head. Malty aroma with hints of roast and nuts. Flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, coffee and chocolate, and very lightly bitter. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with mild, lingering maltiness. Decent.

Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor's Island, 6/19/10
Aroma: The nose is has some hops to it, pine, spice, grass, and some citrus
Appearance: It pours a somewhat cloudy golden color with an off-white head
Flavor: The taste combines the spicy malts with a bit of hoppy bitterness
Palate: It has a medium body and a more then average carbonation to it
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this beer was plenty solid, but not overly great. Just a solid and drinkable brew. I'd drink it again.

Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Malty nose with yeast, caramel and fruity notes. Flavor was sourish with fruit, hops, yeast and malty notes. Finished sourish and dry.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of wood and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, straw, brettanomyces, and wood, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Comes as "Nebraska Brewing Company Reserve Series Chardonnay Blonde". Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense white head leaving some lacework. Spice woody nose - quite interesting. Solid body, sweet exotic fruits, quite some underlying wood and a salty and tart edge. No hops though. Very interesting - the wine barrel really shows. 130910

Bottle 75cl. @ Papsoes blindtasting. [ Bottle #32. ]Light light unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, apricot - peach notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, sharp orange bitter, fresh. Bottle thanks to bu11zeye (via the brewer). Pours with a huge off-white head covering a hazy orange body. Aroma of oak, pencils, floral, flint. Taste is vanilla, light hops, caramel and toffee. Really wood dominant, with lightly toasted oak. Reminds me of the Woodcut beers a bit. Wood notes dominate the hop character. Lively bubbles. Good beer.
