Description

This pours an opaque colour of rust with an initial huge head of foam that settles down to aboot an inch and doesn’t shrink any more than that. Lacing is pretty awesome.

The wild yeast produces some very notable aromas of Brett and only hints of tartness. Other than that, I get a wee bit of malt and hops.

The Brett is dominant and doesn’t relinquish control of this beer’s taste profile. That being said, the smallest of malt(sweet) and typical English style hoppiness peek through from time to time. I’ve had an English IPA with Brett before and I think that one was executed with a lot more finesse.

Pretty light bodied with ideal carbonation.

Decent brew but I think it isn’t much of an English IPA. It, obviously, needs more reviews...

Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body with strong carbonation. Earthy alcoholic unclean aroma with fruity notes. Earthy cardamom and spice taste with unclean notes. Mid-bodied. Slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish, and faintly sour, cardamom and turkish pepper aftertaste with herbal notes. It’s ... I don’t know ... the spice aren’t that bad, but the background acidity I don’t enjoy. (0.33l bottle, from somewhere in Barcelona.)

Medium white head. Hazy yellow body. Banana, flour, and wheat aroma with spicy oily notes. Dry-sweet, and faintly acidic, wheaty fruity taste with milky notes. Odd, sharp, bitter background. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish orangey bananay mealy aftertaste with herbal notes. Odd, and not entirely successful. (0.33l bottle, from somewhere in Barcelona.)

330ml bottle @ the 11th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Feb 15, thanks to Paolo. Pours cloudy chestnut. Aroma has a light, sweet maltiness. Taste is peach melba, marmalade & citrus. Alright but that’s it.

Shared bottle on 17th Feb 2015 at the Shrewsbury Bottle exchange meeting. Cloudy pour to this reddy brown brew, not much of a head. Marmalade came to mind as I sniffed and tasted this beer, very orangey in nature and semi-sweet in the flavour, light malts also play a part in both the aroma and taste. I liked it, my sweet tooth picking up on the sweeter side of the citrus fruitiness of the beer.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.com as Art La Indiana Catalan IPA. A hazy chestnut colour with a thin cream head; rich resinous hop aroma; well balanced by a sweet malty body; and a satisfying, warming finish with lingering caramel and leafy hops. Rather good.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy reddish color, average off-white head. Aroma is malts, tea, herbal, medicinal. Taste malts, medicinal, sweetish, overripe apple, overripe pear, herbal. Decent body and carbonation. Very weird and not my thing.
