500 ml bottle. Clear dark brown reddish with a big foamy head. Basement notes, dried grapes, metal, roasted malt, nutty, grassy, zesty. Malty sweetness, dry metallic bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry metallic malty roasty finish. It's okay, lacks in body, yet with a decent drinkablity.

500 ml bottle. Murky dark brown with a creamy beige colored head. Toffee, lemon, coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, slightly metallic, caramel, basement notes. Malty boozy sweetness, dry lemony bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry malty toffee citrusy finish. Tasty Dunkler Bock, quite drinkable, balanced and not that heavy as expected.

Ein Bier 🍺 aus Sachsen muss schon braun 🟤 oder dunkelrot ♥️ sein. Hier bekommt man ein klassisches kupferfarben wie das rote Zwickl von Ottakringer. Es ist wie die österreichischen Herbstbiere 🍂 dazu recht malzig und sehr trüb. Der Körper ist schön vollmundig und rund. Aromentechnisch ist es eher flach, aber die Malzsüße sorgt für einen schönen Abgang.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with wort bread, caramel, dried fruit, prunes, nuts, liquorice and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of wort bread, caramel, burnt sugar, dried fruit, prunes, nuts, orange peel and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced, but not very complex. Mainly about caramel sweetness. Quite nice.

Bottle drunk after a Tara whisky tasting where I only tasted Armagnac, mezcal, and rum. Dark brown to black, small head. Mild roasted nose with definite smoky hints but not overwhelming. Flavor is wow quite sweet, not well balanced with the moderate bitterness. Otherwise pretty decent flavor of meaty dark malt and smoke.

Bottled. Deep brownish black colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some caramel, mild toffee and some slight coffee tones. Flavour is nutty, coffeeish, some caramel and mild ashy tones. Something between a dunkel and stout.
