Description
Põhjala Brewery is the brainchild of three friends and beer aficionados who, like many a future craft brewer, got tired of the tasteless watery lagers that the faceless megacorporations have saturated the beer market with.
We brew small batches of hand crafted ales, using the best malts, loads of mostly New World hops and a relentless passion for good beer. When creating our beers, we are inspired by Nordic nature, Estonian new cuisine and the work of our fellow microbrewers in the U.S., UK and Scandinavia who, in our opinion, are leading the craft beer revolution.
In hops we trust!

It's not a bad porter but the only thing you taste is smoke. Not really into that.

The thirteenth and the last one for our thirteenth wedding anniversary. Sirena's. Dark brown/black, opaque. AROMA- light peat smoke, sugar, alcohol, lightly roasted, liquor, whiskey, cognac. FLAVOR- smooth, moderately sweet, lightly bitter, a bit warming, slightly wine tart, peat smoke, berries, cherry, grapes, pralines. Fuller bodied.
Really tasty.

Black with a short beige head. Big sweet malts, dark malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla, whiskey, oak, dark fruits, molasses. Thick, oily body. Finish is long and very sweet with some background booze. Very intense and good but also intensely sweet, which takes away a bit.

Bought from Tallinn. Canned 230326. Hazy golden-amber colour, steady white head and lace. Tropical fruits, pine, spicey ryeish like notes. Medium-bodied. Malty, resiny, tropical fruity flavour. Decent bitterness. Solid, quite straightforward hoppy DIPA.

Flarra från systembolaget. Jo du här klunkar och en varm känsla i munnen framkommer. Finns smak av kaffedrink . Lite machiato och tydlig underliggande wirre . Mycket god . Här kommer extrem förkortad variant på omdömet .
Smakar = kaffedrink
- lite väl mye kaffe ☕️ och lite väl mye socker

Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of dry pine, wood and toasted malts. Flavors if same with a touch of cardboard. Like a slightly hoppy non alcoholic.

Can. Tropical fruityness and some lemony sourness. Not much else going on, but it works just fine line that, at least as a thirst quencher. Orange zest, pineapple and some passionfruit. Nice. 646414 260419

This beer is a bit unsual at the beginning and a bit though at the palate. After you become nice aromas with a pleasant touch of salt, vanilla and raspberry with a traditional sourness and lactose with a note of dryness, hop but not predominant, 19.08.20, at Epalinges

One of the beer for the Christmas time. A regular gose beer, rather dry and mineral, malt, yeasty, lactose, dry note of orange, regular side of hop at the final, 28.12.21, at Epalinges.
