Golden color, big head. Sweet malt aroma, quite fruity, white sugar. Some malt and hop, good body strength, some alcohol; not impressive.

Treble coulour, the typical colour of a trappist tripel. Malt aroma. No pronounced palate, but still rather bad.

Rerate: Very deep brown - almost black colour. Slightly brownish head. Spicy aroma. A complex, spicy and malty flavour. The flavour starts quite neutral, and finishes bittery. Malt aroma, very dark color. Very nice beer, drinks quite easy.

[4 years old bottle]
Hazy amber colour, thick yoghurt-like head. Dry aroma, malt, old hops. Smooth, well balanced, strong malt and bitterness, pretty strong palate. Doesn't ages well, must try a fresh one.

Ruby-brown colour, generous head. Pleasant fruity and malt aroma. Dryish, maybe too much carbonation; nice malt and a hint of liquorice; pretty alcoholic finish. Ordinary palate, enough bitter but not enough aromatic.

Dark reddish brown. Fruity aroma, with hints of banana and apples. Very sweet, raisin flavour. Some toffee. When it warms up it reveals a a deep, complex malt character with notes of salty licorice, and a finish which is reminiscent of a madeira wood single malt whiskey.

Bottledm, thanks TEJA! Cloudy nut brown. Lively. Fruity nose with some earthiness. Dry and soft, roasty and a bit rustic. Notes of tobacco and soil. Pleasant and relaxed.

Ruby-brown w/thick foam; Aroma of plums, fruitcake, oranges, and maybe some Special B or Aromatic malt. Spritzy body - figgy, plummy flavours. A light yeasty spiciness carries an alcoholic dryness across the palate; finishes peppery, plummy and toffeeish. Belgium's answer to Old Peculier.
