Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller', best before October 2017. Clear, orangeish amber with a few white bubbles on top. Sweetish, slightly sourish, moderately fruity aroma of ripe apples and a touch of walnut. Moderately sweet, slightly sourish, rather fruity and quite dry taste of ripe apples, some wood and hints of walnut, followed by a short, slightly tart, rather dry finish. Thin body, a bit astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Refreshing, rather dry cider, quite nice!

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is funky barnyard apples, apple skin, very fresh Taste is fresh apple juice, medium fruity without being too sweet, with a dry finish and some tannins. Medium carbonation. Good Cider!

Bottle. Pale green with bubbles but no lace. Subtle nose, cooked fruit, minerals, touch of barnyard. Flavor is more distinctly pears, some sweetness, medium tart, medium tannins too. Pretty tasty. Low carbonation. Prickly finish.

500 ml bottle. Juicy apple nose, some spice and caramel, touch of sharpness. Nice tannins in the mouth, full apple flavor, a bit too sweet, but the big, tingly tannins balance it quite well. Light carbonation and a light touch of barnyard.

Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity aroma of ripe apples and some wood. Moderately sweet, slightly sour, very fruity taste of ripe apples, some walnut and a touch of wood, followed by a short, moderately tart, woody-dry finish. Thin body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very pleasant cider, not too sweet and quite dry, well-carbonated.

Bottle ordered online in Japan. D/b September 2017. Nose is ripe apples, bit of spice, touch of caramel. Deep golden amber with a bit of lace. Flavor is very tannic and puckery, some band aids, green apple, bit of sharpness at the back. Bit of chalk. Good. Quite tannic finish.
