Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass amber coloured, small head. Malty-roasty aroma. Starts mild, malty, roasty and dry. Fine dry bitter background. Some wood, some earth. Malty-bitter finish. Nice!

Sample from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Redbrown in the glass, slightly cloudy, one finger beige head. Dry malty aroma, toasted, dark fruity elements. Taste is toasted malty and smooth at the palate. Bready. Below average carbonation. Really nice one.

Bottle pour at Goldfinger. Autumn Brown colored, show some nice tan Lacy in the glass. Nose is malty and a little yeasty, bit kind of mild. Dark malty taste of an alt, an impression of, but probably no physical smoke involved. A little malt sweetness. Settles in nicely

Bottle, courtesy of Erzengel, shared at Ganz with Gabor and Undos. Pours dark copper with an off-white head. Nose is bready and biscuity malts, light earthy notes, spice, caramel, and herbal touches. Taste is moderately sweet upfront, there’s caramel, bread, biscuits and toffee but at the same time there’s a firm bitterness for balance, with herbal, grassy and earthy notes. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Tasty.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Erzengel, thanks a lot! Pours totally opaque copper with a thick off-white head. Nose is toffee, bready malts, light earthy notes. Tastes is moderately sweet malty with a restrained bitterness, showing toffee, bready notes, a faint touch of chocolate on the palate, caramel and vague fruity notes. Closes with a sweetish, malty finish that dries out by the end and also shows some fruity notes. It has a light, somewhat crisp body and average carbonation. Thanks Gabriel for making it possible for me to tick this classic!
