Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV 7.5%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of malts, molasses, oak and whiskey. Flavour with the same elements, but this is not a beer that appeals to me.

RBHD-samling hos RB-Bryne, dypt inne i ukjent farvann men omgitt av gode venner: 0,5 flaske, mørk teak med kort skum. Indsmigrende aroma og smag af karamelchokolader, vanilje, muscovadosukker, dessertkaffe, brombær, læder og et strejf af torvrøg. Alligevel med en let krop.

Bottleat KØ18. Mild sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour. Seems cloudy. No head. The flavour has a mild liquorice note. Not sweet and definitely not salty. Fruity finish.

Bottle @ Ølmarked, Aarhus. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, light whisky. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, brown sugar, bourbon, alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with a little alcohol warmth. 100318

Thanks to yespr! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. Black with huge mocha head. Nose is old herbal stale malts, roasted malts, vegetable bitter. Taste is poor herbal bitter, roasted vegetable, dry, harsh, bit boozy. Not a fan & why does it taste like this even with Muscovado sugar & Bourbon?

Sampled @ RBBSG 2017. Medium to dark brown color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, dark fruit notes, wood, light barrel influence. Medium body, average to medium carbonation. Decent.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of banana, malty, grains, more banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of carbon, caramel, grains, some citrus, fruity. Aftertaste: malty, lots and lots of banana, fruity, little bitter, grains, sweet, sugary, malty, grains, cow fodder.
