Originally based just up from the Ball Street bridge over the River Don which inspired our logo, we moved round the corner into 92 Burton Road in 2020 and share the area with a host of other makers, doers and independent businesses, as well as several other breweries.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Hazy golden orange body with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, tangerine, pineapple, bitter marmalade, and light herbal notes. The taste is orange, tangerine, passion fruit, bitter pine and light resin with a dry, citric finish. Very nice really.

On cask at Sheaf Inn, Heeley - Clear yellow body, thin white head. Nose is citrus as expected, but it has a lingering aroma of strained corn juice. Taste is inoffensive, rather grassy, nothing out of the ordinary. Can’t blame it on the fact it doesn’t travel well...
