Cask at the Wellington, 29th December 2008. Absolutely exquisite. Very dry, hoppy and sharply bitter. Pale gold colour with white mainly diminishing head. A good ale for a session, and recommended.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham, on 29th December 2008. Light hop scents leading to a crescendo of hoppy bitterness. Certainly not mono-directional, there was some delicate malt and fruit there too. Notes on the day were simply hoppy, bitter yet with delicate roundedness. A premium, delicious beer.

Cask at Market Porter, London. Copper coloured ale with a smallish head. Fruity aroma. Light hop taste and hint of grapefruit. This beer is fine but I was expecting much more for some reason.

Bottle picked up at Webbs of Wychbold, a huge Garden Centre signposted off of the M5 and between Droitwich and Bromsgrove, Worcs 13-04-09 consumed later that day. Pours crystal clear, light to mid amber with a large white foamy head that quickly departed. Some sweet citrus, swet honey and even a little bit of an overipe yellow plum in the mouth, quite juicy but finishes slightly dry and bitter with a touch of biscuit. The aroma was lightly hoppy. Tasty beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5
