Gravity cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Light yellow to blonde with a decent off White cap. Nose is subtle ginger, lemon rind, straw, airy malts. Taste comprises lemon peel, straw, soft bread, ginger, light herbals. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok as ginger blondes go !

Cask at Craft Beer & Co, St Mary Axe. Pours deep golden with white head. Some fruity notes, malty, biscuit, sweetish. Some bitterness in the end. Decent, but nothing special.

Clear amber beer with a white head and bitter smell. Really it’s just a traditional pint of bitter in every way. Which is fine, but it’s remarkable.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Dancing Duck Waddle It Be? ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, light tropical fruit, peach. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus, pale malt, peach. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [ As Dancing Duck Imperial Drake ].Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, dark malt, roasted, light burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20160218]

Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe. Gold eith a thin white head. Sweet orange and lemon with mild caramel. Not a lot of hop bite. Bit bland actually. Meh.

Cask handpump at The Roundouse, Nottingham, Saturday 9th April 2016 with dad. Pours amber in colour with a sticky white head. Fairly safe, malty bitter with a good tangy bite, fruity middle of the road,however pleasant. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
