So far the only beer I have come across from this brewery. +++ Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle the beer poured a nice mahogany color with a huge creamy tan head. There was a faint bitter malt aroma. The flavor had a nice full malt presence that faded to bitter on the aftertaste. This beer has very strong English characteristics. Nice if you like the style.

Let me just start by saying I really like the bottle design, and the label shape complements it well. That’s not factored into my rating, but it is an appealing product on the shelf. It probably factored into my decision to buy it. Anyway, it pours an attractive lightly hazy red-tinted amber. The aroma is lively with light fruits, some grassy and peppery hops, also hinting at a smoky tobacco leaf. Palate is medium and very smooth, with fruity malts giving way to earthy and peppery notes. Very smooth, very drinkable, with alot of character. I could drink a ton of this stuff, and would love to just have a cask of it sitting around.

Clear dark orange color, short head. Very caramelly, sweet and bitter. Sticky palate.

Chestnut brown with a quickly fading head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is more pronounced than the aroma would get you ready for. The flavor is malty sweet, but balanced by a hop dryness. Body is a little thin. Fair.

Cookie malt, citrus and grass aroma. Amber, big bubbles, foamy lacing head Dry hops (grass and citrus) , good balance to malt, dry finish. relatively light-bodied, slightly rubbery mouthfeel.

On cask at the St. James Tavern in London. Dark amber/brown color with a medium thin light tan head. Thin and quick lacing. The aroma is rather fruity, with hints of caramel and malt. Medium-bodied and very smooth and smokey. Flavors of caramel, grape, and roasted malt. The finish is silky and long. This is a solid beer that can be found in many pubs/taverns in London.

Dark amber coloured body with a dense, thick, creamy off-white head. Aroma of vanilla and caramel with some malt background. Medium-bodied; Creamy mouthful with some roasted malt and strong sweetness which lasts a long time. Aftertaste shows some sweetness and some balanced tastes. Overall, a decent beer...not my favourite for the style, but a good beer. I had this on cask at the Old Toad in Rochester, New York.
