Description

Mjuk beska. Försvinner någorlunda snabbt i munnen.

From a small cask drunk at my neighbor's birthday party from a half liter traditional glass. Clear gold, nice head, moderate carbonation. Spicy nose, ischt ja suffig, great full flavor on the tongue. Light malt sweetness and fresh grain well balanced by earthy hop bitterness. Hint of woody taste, a bit more complex than the average Helles. Very sessionable, as proven by my having drunk three of them. I think it's easily the best Helles of Munich traditional beers.

9/12/2022. Bottle, gifted to me. Poured clear bright golden with a modest frothy white head. Decent looking beer. Aroma is malty, light hoppy, straw, hint of spice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Also 28/6/2025 at Wild West Bar, Durrës, Albania. See photo.

The aromas are straightforward pale malt, hops and a little yeast. The flavors are like nose, bittersweet at first with good carbonation going more sweet in the finish. Decent body. Okay beer.

500ml bottle at home. Pours crystal clear amber gold with a frothy white head. Nose is biscuit, hay, some floral hops. Flavor is basically the same, malt forward base of hay and biscuit with some mild floral hops in the background. Easy drinker
