On tap at High Water, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out iodine, dry roasted malt and lots of medium roast coffee. Flavour is moderately roasted, with a solid roasted malt base, plenty of dry coffee on the finish. Not the most complex coffee stout out there, but it's tasty enough and well put together.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dull cherry red with a large foamy white head that didn't seem pink at all. Aroma of cooking cherry with a hint of pomegranate. Med body or so. Flavor is alternating pomegranate/cooking cherry. Dry. Lightly tart. Seems to have crushed pomegranate seeds in the mix. Not bitter, xpt for pomegranate aspects. Interestingly different.

US Pint can shared at a friends house in Laguna Hills on 5th February 2022. The aroma and taste do conjure up a Pecan Pie that has Maple Syrup, so the can labelling is spot on (no mention of any Bourbon Barrel Oak chips on it though). Clean mahogany body, thin beige topping. Had it with a chocolate Cup Cake, it worked!

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with bourbon and vanilla upfront, followed by tons of toasted pecans and maple in nice cohesion. Flavour is rather harsh and boozy, with lots of boozy bourbon in the harshest of senses, plenty of vanilla, and maple. The barrels impart a rather harsh character that doesn't seem to elevate the base beer. Not bad, but could be improved upon.

Tap at University of Beer in Vacaville, CA. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is spicy red malt. Medium plus body. Flavor is amber red malt with spice and pine. Dryer than many ambers and pleasingly bitter. Excellent.

Slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of fake sugars, light malt, wheat, grass, hay and a heavy dose of cucumbers and fairly light alcohol. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong cucumber and wheat flavours dominate at first with a lot of grass and herbal notes with some floral aspects and very little of just about everything else, including sugars, depth, grain and anything complex. Aftertaste shows some wheatie and herbal notes with a ton of grasses and hay notes with a light hop bitterness showing some subdued complexity with almost no sweetness or depth, but a crisp, easy-drinking beer with a lot of cucumber notes. Overall, a fairly nice beer that shows the crisp malts (I taste wheats) and the cucumber, but I feel that this tastes more like an ale than a lager, but crisp throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Corner Store, Bait & Tackle in West Palm Beach, Florida on 14-February-2021 for US$4,19 sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-June-2021 - Father's Day 2021, after celebrating with my wife and three kids.

The difference between most imperial stalts and imperial milk stouts? The name. 90% of the stouts alter taste like this clone. Mainly strong and sweet and dark. A few other things going on and that's it. Boring AF. It's not bad as a beer on its own but man this is getting old.
