Description
For nearly twenty five years, our mission here at Smuttynose has remained the same: to brew the best beer we can in a way we can be proud of. That includes honoring New England’s rich beermaking history, respecting our environment, and playing an active role in our community.
We value creativity, quality, authenticity and sustainability, but it really boils down to making great beers to enjoy with friends and family. We hope you love drinking our beers as much as we love brewing them. Cheers!

Can from a lazy dog. Lightly hazy light gold in color with a bubbly white head that persists. Earthy pine and resin with a solid sweet bready malt underneath. I miss drinking beers like this.

Seems to have a lot of carbonation. Flavor is lemon juice , mild soured grain, and mild lasting tart berries. Overall, about what you would expect. Although very average in the fruited berliner weisse style.

Can from Greg and Jane's Pours a brilliant deep gold with a touch of brick red at the edges and a tightly bubbled white head that fades quickly. Tart earthy funk on the nose with bits of fruitiness to counter. Flavor is faint bready malt with the lemony tart and earthy fruit from the nose. Pretty good fruity tart brew.

Can from Greg and Jane's Pours a mostly clear deep gold in color with a good sized long lasting frothty bone white head. Bready malt on the nose and flavor. Light earthy grassy hops. Thin watery body. chalky mouthfeel. This feels and tastes like orange seltzer water.

2012 edition. Pours unclear, very yeast-flaked , darker blonde. Smell is intense, sweet impression, full, wheat is very clear. Thick and heavy, mild boozy touch even. Taste is full, wheat, bit sharp, rather sweet, fullbodied, lowzer carbo. Mild raisins, medium bitter touch. OK
