Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours black with a tan head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, cocao, light coffee, little sour milk. Flavor is light sweet, roast malt, caramel, little coffee, little cocoa. Thin body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet finish. 120326

It is a classical British porter, I could say neutral, easy to try it, less aromas than a fuller porter, not bad at all.

Deep brick red with a tan head. Ripe, dark fruits, chewy toffee, dark malts, some background booze. Medium bodied. Finish has dark fruits and toffee with booze. It’s a fine sipper.

Half-pint, cask ale, 5.8 % abv, at The White Swan in Islington (JDW). Deep dark brownish body, tiny beige head, spotty lacing. Inviting caramel malty aromas added by herbal hops. Fine balanced taste of brittle caramel, liquorice, and note of leafy hops. Lightly roasted ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (London, 02.03.2026).
