50cl bottle pours with a dark brown to mahogany colored body that supports a fairly tight mocha head of foam that leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a bit of nuttiness and then thin hints of dark fruity esters. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of dark roasted malts and chocolate malts that seems to grow into a dark roasted coffee sensation by about midway. It picks up faint sweet dark fruity esters as well as a mild level of vague bitter hoppiness. This comes together great with virtually no sense of the ABV.

500mL bottle. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Oily resins and tangy gooseberries on the nose. Flavour has bitter pine and resins up front, some oily dankness, grapefruit peels, and some tangy berries. Solid malt body with a nice bitter finish. Excellent.

Tap at the Santa Rosa venue. Pours clear goal with a moderate white head. Aroma is a mix of pine, herb, and tropical. Medium body. Quite dry. Very very nicely bitter. Flavor is the aroma for the tropical is citrus and there is a bit of resin to go with the rest. Even seems lightly spicy. Really good.ale.

On tap at Special Brews, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has bright, fresh grass, herbaceous notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has freshly cut grassy hops, herbaceous hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Very grassy and fresh. Good stuff.
