Draft sample at the winery tasting room. Fresh sweet tart apple and light citrus flavor. Slightly hazed clear medium yellow, no head per usual for cider. Tart tannic dry apple, lemony and a little yeasty. Light body, lively carbonation. Lightly sweet, but not overly so.

Draft sample at the winery tasting room. Tart green apple aroma. Clear pale yellow, no head per usual for cider. Light fresh dry apple and green grassy flavor. Light body, soft carbonation. I got to sample this one with the owner, who said it’s one of his favorites. He told me it is intentionally light. Another nice dry English style cider from McClure’s.

sampled at the cidery - Pours clear golden with an aroma of rich, ripe apples and some alcohol, which isn’t surprising at 16%. The flavor is of rich, sweet apples and has a significant alcohol kick that helps dry out the finish. It’s sweet without being syrupy. Yes, it’s 16%, but it is not an ice cider. I was told at the time that an ice cider was planned. I wonder when it will be ready? Anyway, this cider is excellent and I took a bottle home.

sampled at the cidery - The apple wine also comes in semi-dry, semi-sweet, and sweet variants. I just tried the dry one as my palate was pretty weary by this point. Sure enough, it’s a dry apple wine. There are ample rich apple flavors though. It’s a good little wine.

sampled at the cidery - Pours light yellow/straw in color and has a rich honey aroma. It has a sweet honey taste with a dry alcohol kick. Medium bodied, it’s quite pleasant on the palate and overall a very enjoyable mead.

sampled at the cidery - This honey wine starts with a nice raspberry aroma with a touch of honey. The flavor is dry with the berries apparent but minimal honey taste. It finishes dry too and overall is an enjoyable wine.

sampled at the cidery - Pours hazy straw colored and bubbly with a rich sweet apple aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and this cider is indeed very bubbly on the palate. Really, really bubbly. It proceeds to a dry finish. Good, maybe could be better.
