Description

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of saison yeast, crusty dry toasted grains and earthiness. Flavour is dry and toasty, with lots of crusty toasted grains, saison yeast and some light funk. Bone dry, as expected from such a gluten free beer. Nice stuff. Impressive for what it is.

Aroma of funky hay and sweet grass with some hops, nice, getting up into the good level of aromas. Appearance is modest head and a foggy yellow body. Flavour is sour lemons and an orange peel skin. Alcohol is big and noticeable. Has a cloying boozy finish though. It has some interesting aspects but needs work.

Cannette 473 ml. Arômes de levure avec houblons herbacés. Notes légèrement citronnées. Faible puissance.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow colour with a white cap and some nice lacing. Beautiful fresh aromas of a Saison with citrus notes, mild honey and some perfume of floral character, kind of like lavender. Gets cloudier at every pour. The Belgian Ale yeast is felt in the taste with some coriander hints and the citrus-honey notes, kind of like Cēpacol, but mild and nice. I like.

Best before date is 01/07/2015. Pours a hazy light-golden yellow colour with a big foamy white cap, great retention and thick foam lace. Aromas of chemical plastics from the hops (I guess) with citrus notes, Belgian yeast and sugars. The taste is weird as well. Seems like the buckwheat. Again, citrus which helps with the lemon, balanced between the sweetness and light sourness. Not quite a Saison because of the grain change, but a pretty good brew nonetheless. Another great gluten free product from this brewer.

Pours a dark brown colour, almost black with ruby highlights. The head is beige, almost mocha coloured with good stay and some lacing. Licorice notes in the aromas with some roasted grain and hints of chocolate, citrus, wax, mint and coconut. Quite a lot going one here. Flavours are chocolaty with some nice mild grassy hops. Again, a light touch of wax/coconut. Some dark fruit as well. This is quite a nice dark, roasted gluten-free beer that is pretty complex.
