2350 rue Dickson, local 950, Montreal, H1N 3T1, Canada
Description

An orange amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel, lightly roasted, very "malty". In mouth, rather sweet cloying caramel, maple essence, coriander, dark fruit, molasses, alcohol warmth, interesting but a bit too much for me. On tap at Baril Roulant.

Bottle @ home. Well, I’m curious what this will bring. The gluten free beers I’ve had in the past haven’t been very good so hopefully this will change things. Clear orange golden color, huge white head. Aroma has some hoppy notes, but a bit faint. Taste is pretty bitter with a decent hoppyness. Lightly floral as well. A bit too much carbonation imo, but otherwise a decent beer. Probably the first gluten free beer I’ve finished.

was thinking this was from euro, go figger. my red and silver pounder can says glutenberg american pale ale. has a nice head. .......looks like pale lager. smells fairly hoppy with some metal in the background. stronger flavor, does not hide alky too well. yes, that medium bitter personality starts to set in during the session. some wine in there too. since i was expecting something a little more civilized, a little disappointing. why go to canada when i can find this typical american pale ale taste all round here. neverthe less, glad to have had the chance to try it.

Dunkelgoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkroen. Geruch hopfig, grasig, getreidig, blumig. So ist auch der Geschmack.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, bright, with compact head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, hoppy, crisp. Lean mouthfeel; good malt flavor, quite crisp, some cereals, with late light sugars; strong bitterness with plenty of hop qualities; balanced.
It has something peculiar given the absence of barley, but it’s barely noticeable. It’s a remarkable effort.
Very good.

Can: Poured a bright clear golden color ale with a medium size head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light citrus hops with some cereal notes really coming through. Taste is also dominated by citrus hops notes with a fair amount of bitterness and some cereal notes easily identifiable. You can actually taste that this beer is not brewed with barley but it is still quite enjoyable. Body is a bit light for style with medium carbonation.
