On tap. Poured black with a thick medium brown head that lasts nicely. Aroma was dark with dark grains, a bit of roasted malt and a hint of coffee. Flavor was similar with roasted malts in the beginning and a bit of coffee coming out in the finish.

On tap. Poured a slightly hazy orange with a white head that laced a bit. Aroma was full of pine hops with a bit of underlying sweet grains and grassy hops. Flavor was similar with very strong pine hops and a bit of a sweet grain kick at the finish.

Growler thanks to Sarah. Pours a hazy dirty orange with a thick white head that dissipated slowly. Aroma has a note of pine with underlying sweet grains and a bit of cream. Flavor is a bit creamy at the beginning, then pine in the middle and a sweet grain finish to help balance the pine.

Growler. Pours a hazy orange grapefruit with a pillow like white head. Aroma has a strong clove note with undertones of banana and wheat. The clove is again strong in the flavor with underlying banana, floral and wheat notes. Nicely carbonated and a solid beer.

Enjoyed from a growler as part of Piece’s fantastic Sunday pizza & growler deal. Aroma is rich in floral hops, appearance is a rich gold with a thin head. Taste, slightly creamy, rather hoppy, and has a nice subtle malt finish. This to me is very reminiscent of Two Hearted Ale, it’s billed as a Pale Ale but more of an IPA. $25 for a growler of this and a large pizza is a steal.

Tap at the brewpub. Purs very dark brown/amber with a beige head. Smells sweet and hoppy. It’s sweet and full bodied. Mildly carbonated. It is hoppy. Starts more sweet than bitter, but it becomes bitter as the sugar washes away. Killer ale!!

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Light floral aroma. Light floral/citrus flavors over caramel. Could be ESB. Finishes smooth and mildly bitter. Nice stuff.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Big citrus/fruit aroma. Med body/sharpish carbonation. Flavor is citrus/floral/resin? Not sure about the resin. Lots and lots of hop. Malt is pleasantly submerged.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a tan head. Sort of chocolate aroma. Thickish body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with chocolate. Don’t get coffee. A little smokey towards the finish. Nice, but I don’t think it goes well with pizza - too much flavor!

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Citric/fruity aroma. Med+ body; foamy carbonation. Flavor is very citricly hoppy. Wonderful long hop finish. Good ale.
