12 ounce bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 3/1/22. Clear dark red, large frothy tan head, fair retention. Looks nice. Aroma of nuts, honey, toffee malts, bit of coffee. Taste is caramel, tea, nuts, citrus. A bit thin. High carb. Nice overall.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Brookfield 2/26/22. Hazy orange amber, thin white, poor. Aroma of tropical fruit, earth, syrupy fruits. Taste is stone fruit, tropical fruit, resin. Thin. Lingering bitterness. Seems old and stale, but, bottle clearly states Best by: 13APR22. Maybe I don’t get it. Overall, decent.

Bottle as part of a trade with a US based friend, cheers Doug! Sampled March 2019. Pours amber orange with a pale beige cap. Aroma: toasted malts, caramel, bourbon barrel, light herbal. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, sticky, bourbon barrel, caramel, raisins, molasses, toffee. Medium to full body with fine carbonation.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 12/25/21. Clear copper thin fizzy white head, fair retention. Aroma of caramel, cherry, mild hops. Taste is piney hops, caramel, cherry. Thin, well balanced. Decent.

12 ounce bottle from Niemuth's, 12/1/21. Back, large frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, cocoa. Taste is roast, cocoa, dark fruits. Bit thin for the style. Well balanced. Nice.

Tap on riverfront pop up outside brewery. Great setting. Standard copper pour small head. Nose is faint malt. Tastes of caramel, grains, malt, pennies. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, 8/30/21. Hazy yellow, thin fizzy head, poor retention. Aroma of doughy malt, lime, mild salt. Taste is rice, lime, salt, a bit of agave. Thin. Not bad for a GF beer, but not a great beer in general .
