Bottle. Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a medium sized white head. Aromas are of tropical fruit, sour, mango, light hoppy like character, floral, grassy. Flavors are of tropical fruit, sour, tart, green mango, lightly spicy, dry, effervescent. Bright mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours with a noticeable lack of carbonation. Muddy brown with only a few scant bubbles. Aromas are of mild funk, wet wood, currants, vinous, cinnamon, red wine, brandy, brown sugar, caramel. Flavors are mildly tart, brown sugar, vinous, cognac, dark fruits. Berries, funk, medium bitter and tannic. Very low carbonation, fuller bodied, warming.

Batch 8/11. Aroma is pleasant quite a bit of citrus and a balanced amount of coriander. The Brett is really starting to dominate though - lots of pineapple an tropical fruit. A low musty funkiness in the background. A medicinal note is also starting to appear but at a low level. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a pillowy white head that remains in some form throughout. Light lacing on the edges. Flavor starts out with a bright orange and tangerine citrus note. Mid palate the citrus recedes and in comes the Brett and the coriander. The coriander is light, but there is a ton of Brett flavor. Lots of pineapple and tropical fruit. A touch of a barnyard character, but only in the background. A bit of a cherry medicinal flavor when clod but it recedes as the beer warms. Low bitterness and a hint of astringency. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with effervescent carbonation. Only faint alcohol warmth and very low but present astringency. Overall a really nice beer and a cool example of what you can do with Brett. Side by side with a nice wit, I'm not sure which I would prefer; they are almost entirely different beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - thanks Travis! Pours cloudy reddish brown, almost mahogany, with a small off white head that dissipates quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is woody, tart, sour cherries, and a bit of caramel. Flavor is the same, tart and sour cherry notes prominent, a bit of boozy cognac. Very light sweetness and medium tartness. Medium body, no carbonation. Light warming alcoholic finish. A bit raw, and lacking the depth of character of the better sours.

Bottle. Pours burgundy with off white/light tan head. Nose/taste of tart raspberries, oak, cocoa, vinegar, wild yeast and mild stomach acid. Quite acidic. Medium body. Old fruit finish.

Bottle at The Fruit Sour Tasting, London - big thanks to Jack for the Crooked Stave addition! Pours cloudy gold with a light, white foam head. Tangy nose with a bit of dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with lemon, more dough, mild funk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, light to medium sweet, more lemon, light funk notes. Fairly fresh-tasting. Very pleasant.
