Cask @ Navigation Tavern. Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. Corn, grain, citrus and pisscubes. Not in top shape I assume.

I thought this beer might be “off”, but then I read the previous reviews and they said the same thing ! Anyway, cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford.. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma has bananas and malts. In the mouth the texture is creamy and the overall taste somewhat sour. In the tems of flavour there is a strange combination of dried apricots and overripe bananas, plus some hints of floral hops. This is weird – a definite NO from me !

500ml bottle @ House of Trembling Madness, York, sat outside listening to Old Man Gloom and Melvins emanating from inside. Very pale yellow pour, sparkling. Not sure who makes this, but it's nicely sweet, custardy.. pleasantly clean commercial sweet cider.

Deep, dark brown, near black, with a creamy tan head and medium roasted coffee on the nose. Velvety smooth and creamy, with a roasted malt and coffee taste, some chocolate sweetness perhaps, and a tiny ouch of bitterness in the finish

Cask at PoW. It pours clear deep ruby brown with a thick, fluffy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, molasses, dried fruits, jammy, rapsberry, strawberry, toasty grain, brown bread and black bun. The taste is dry, toasty, bitter - sweet, toothy, toasted oak, toothy, chewy, light spice, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, jammy berry, treacle, tannin and dull alcohol with a smooth, toasty finish. Fulsome body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Rounded and nice depth. A totally different beer to the crappy bottled version.
