Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beermerchants. Gusher! Thankfully I was quick on the draw and didn’t lose a drop. The beer pours deep brown with a huge, frothy beige head that settles down into a creamy topping. The aroma holds earthy filter coffee, scorched malts, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with lots of heavily sugared black coffee, some gooey chocolate, roasty malts, moderate earthy bitterness, some dark fruit accents. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Sugary finish with more black coffee, burnt sugars, cocoa, dark malts, raisins, molasses. Perhaps a little simplistic but not bad overall.

Bottle at home. Clear Amber with smooth big off white head. Nice citrusy fresh hops, grapefruit, biscuits, caramel, gingerbread. Slight metallic finish, maybe because this is not that fresh anymore. Medium bodied with above average carbonation. Nice.

Bottle. An unclear, golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is rather sweetish and sugar, fruity, and with some pale malts. Citrus notes. It’s full-bodied, with a nice carbonation. White sugar, pale malts, fruityness and citrus. Nice bitterness. Lasting bitter and fruity finish with a tad too much sweetness. Overall, sure a nice beer, but it’s too much on the sweet side. 150314
