a nice malty lager, good malt/hops balance. Very clean, and crisp, a very good example of the style

Nothing special, but nothing great. A wattery Hefe. To me it was actually big on the citrus flavours, so i actually thought it was a wit.

bottle labeled l’obscure. dark brown pour, not completely black. A roasty nose, some anise, and smoke. Flavour is full bodied, and chocolaty, maybe some notes of anise again, and some coffee. NOt bad, but i think would fit better in the foreign stout category.

pours a very dark amber almost brown. Interesting aroma of dark caramel malt,and some corriander, and pine. Flavour is actually quite woody, and piney, with an odd aftertaste of kosher dill pickles, and is quite bitter in the finish. Wow, this is odd. I"m not liking this.

Cloudy amber pour, medium off white head. Slightly malty nops, with a touch of spice maybe. Flavour is pretty basic, some yeast, some malt, nothing special.

Visuel : Couleur : jaune-dorée. Apparence : légèrement voilée.
Arôme : Grains de malt pâle, houblon floral, herbeux, légèrement citrique et aux notes fruitées (agrumes).
Goût : Entrée de bouche : Légère-moyenne amertume de houblon floral, moyennement herbeux, légèrement citrique et aux notes fruitées (agrumes sucrées, traces d’abricots), présente toute la gorgée. Un support de grains de malt pâle sucrés est également présent avec des traces de miel et de biscuits.
En bouche : Corps: moyen. Effervescence : moyenne. Texture : légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes aqueuses. Finale : moyenne et un peu sèche, léger-moyen amère de houblon herbeux aux notes florales et fruitées.
