very black pour, and a nice mocha head. Aroma is not very deep. there are some roasty notes with a little bit of coffee, but its pretty muted. The flavor thought is VERY roasty, lots of roasted malt, some big coffee notes int he finish with a nice dose of bitterness.

750ml bottle. Smokey toasty aroma with some nice sweet caramel, and ripe fruit. Flavor is more of the same. The body is very light and this is crazily easy to drink for 9.4% this is dangerous.

Amber pour and a tiny offwhite head. Aroma of brandy, cinnamon, and cloves. Flavor is very much the same with a thick mouthfeel. There is also a cloying sweetness but it’s not bad but also not great.

label says a strong belgian ale with anise. Well the anise is there! the aroma is pretty mute, some sweet malts, a little sugary swetness, but thats about it. The flavor though is ALL anise, and some black licorice. Its pretty one dimensional, and over powering.

500ml bottle. hazy dark brown/ruby red pour, with a beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and some sweet ripe fruit, maybe some figs, and plums. Carbonation is a little high, thew flavor is subtle, and sweet with some nice caramel malts, and more of the fruits. Quite light bodied for a scotch ale. Nice stuff.

Nothing imperial about this one. Oily vinous herbal hop aroma mixed with coffee. Flavor us more of the grassy hops and a sharp toasty slightly watery coffee finish. Meh.

wonderful aroma and flavor of orange zest, citrucy, and floral hops, with some slight pine notes. Overall a nice IPA, not overly bitter, but just enough, the hops are super juicy, and quite refreshing.

Very dark orange pour, darker that you would expect in a DIPA. Very nice aroma of sweet citrucy hops and some juicy honey notes. Wow lots of hops inhere this smells outstanding. So far this great ok now the flavor is where it falls off. The flavor is very sweet and bordering cloying. The hops are there but they are muddled in honey and a sweet syrupiness. The flavor is pretty messy and all over the place it’s too sweet and lacks crispness. The main flaw though is the finish. There is no bitter finish it doesn’t grab you in the throat. It just finishes with more of the hoppy syrup. A great effortif they clean it up i can be outstanding.

weird sour yeasty nose, with some semi tart fruit, and a strong alcohl finish. The flavor is a mix of sweet, and sour, with lots of odd yeasty esters. this is an odd beer that does not hide the alcohol very well.

Finally found this beer! I remember having something called La Futee, but i wasn’t able to find anything on the site, and coudlnt remember the brewer. From what i remember the carbonation of this beer was WAY over the top. It made the beer almost undrinkable. As for flavor it was a pretty basic golden ale flavor, but a little more crisp. Nothing great really.
