Description

Degelijk bier.

No idea how to see what vintage. Golden colour, medium-sized white head. Sweetish-spicey tripel aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavour also has honey, pale malts, grass and some spices. Simple tripel.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a hazy orange colour with a huge thick bubbly off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruits, orange peel, orange sherbet and a bit of spice. Taste is more citrus notes, orange peel, orange sherbet, light spice, grassy hops and sweet sugar on the finish. Light body, fairly low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Not bad but not great either.

Medium yellow-beige head over fully opaque reddish brown beer. Short whiff of acetic acid, vinegar, then mainly dark malts, melanoidins, nuts, dark bread. Also something sourish in the taste, upon chocolate, ligthtly toasted malts, dark malts. Finish has some roasty bitterness, scorched caramel. Mild alcoholwarming, good carbonation, medium to well-bodied. Average.

Small yellow-beige head, not very stable, over clear chestnut coloured beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Some alcohol in the nose, caramel, even hint @ toffee; bread, yeast, autumn leaves, mild roast. Sweet-bitterish, and again a clear alcoholbite, not really in accordance with its modest 7% ABV. Finish is a bit drier, and slightly bitter, again in the way of autumn leaves mixed with caramel, coloured malts. There's a hint to a certain acidity, especially within the aftertaste, difficult to nail down. Leafy flavours keep going. Medium bodied, feels better carbonated than it looks; bit sticky afterfeel. Not really hoppy despite its subtitle. Thanks to Stef !
