Can. Pours clear pale yellow with foamy whitish head, yeast aroma, high arbonation, smooth malty taste with a bit of yeast flavor, thin body, medium malty finish. Quite a nice one.

12 oz can. Pours clear brown with an off-white head. Cocoa aroma, molasses, touch roasty. Silky chocolate flavor, molasses, touch of coffee and roastiness. Some creamy sweetness to it. On the lighter side, but very tasty. I’m a fan.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Dark caramel pour with a thin tan head. Tons of sugar, caramel, vanilla and coconut notes. The flavour is there, but the beer is too sweet, making it a bit too hard to drink.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Black with opaque with small beige head. Aroma is light coffee, medium/thick body, medium/light carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is really nice coffee, malty, chocolate, and a little coconut.

Shared bomber in tulip snifters. Brown color that shines red with sunlight behind it. Wine is mellow present on the nose, palate and finish--but not so dominant to be bad. Wine and beer nicely balanced. The "beer" character Is surprisingly smooth for the high ABV.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/10/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear pinkish/reddish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tart/juicy cherries, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherries, citrus/pine hops, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/juicy cherries, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness and light fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of cherries, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, citrus/pine hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero astringent hop/fruit flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitter/tartness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Slight resins and fruit acidity near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a great fruited IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, citrus/pine hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and quite refreshing to drink; thanks to the balanced bitter/tartness and drying finish. A very enjoyable offering.

12 ounce can into snifter, canned on 1/4/2017. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, dark bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of raisin, prune, fig, date, licorice, smoke, char, herbal, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Quite yeasty, but not overwhelming in the aromas. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, dark bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of raisin, prune, fig, date, licorice, smoke, char, herbal, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, dark bread, nuttiness, light licorice/dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from roast/hop bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Mildly warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is a very nice English style imperial oatmeal stout. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV. The yeast definitely has a good presence in the overall flavors, but there is still a lot of really nice strong malt complexity to back it up. A very enjoyable offering.

12 oz can. Pitch black pour with dark ruby highlights and a tan head with good retention. Good lacing. Roasted nose. Taste matches the nose with minor coffee notes. Imperial edge decreases the enjoyment. Almost really good. 9.0 ABV is fairly hidden.

Bottle from share. Black, inky pour with normal beige head. Typical roast malt aroma, some chocolate, some coffee. Taste continues the pattern, adds some vanilla and brown sugar.

Bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee molasses smoke. Taste is more of the chocolate roast malts vanilla molasses.
