As Oechsner Session Pils 4.0% at the George & Dragon, Fitzrovia but seems to be this one rather than a new beer. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of straw, grain, hop, malt and grass. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, very watery texture, average carbonation.

Keg at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear yellownwith a foamy, white head. Dry cereal in the nose, hay. Light sweet flavour with more cereal, pale biscuits, lemon peel, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat dry on the finish, with further crispy cereal and biscuits, light bitterness. Simple but enjoyable.

On tap at The Resting Hare Euston as Resting Hare’s Lager. Clean crisp touch of light malty flavour some grassy biting hop finish. Not bad overall. Cold and refteshing. No faults decent helles.

On tap at The Resting Hare Euston as Black Hare Schwarzbier 5.1% Dark brown cola coloured beer lasting tan head. Very tasty dark lager some butter caramel then settles down into something a bit more roasty. Yes decent. Nutty. It grew on me.

Clear golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, banana, lemon, cloves. Smooth taste, medium sweet, slightly bitter and sourish, wheat, fruity. Fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, grainy notes, light spicy notes, fresh and easy to drink, thirst quencer.

Flasche (Oechsner Pilsener, 50 cl) aus einer Hotel-Minibar in Marktbreit. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase herb grasiger Hopfen, Anklänge an Chlor. - Antrunk schlank und schmalspurig zitronenschalig-herb. Milde, aber etwas matte Malzsüße. Durchschnittlich rezent, dünner Körper. Im Abgang wenig aromatische, leere Bittere. Schroffer, dumpfer Nachhall. - Mittelmäßiges Pilsener, dem man den Hopfenextrakt anmerkt.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing. Smooth and style-typical beginning. Easy to drink with a smooth and slightly sweetish Weizen body. Not much bitterness, round and crisp with a nice and not too sweetish aftertaste. Nice Example of this style!
