12 oz bottle. Lovely, fine, foamy off-white head. Lots of bubbles. Deep amber. Aroma of caramel, rye, nice hops. Fluffy, full, smooth, frothy mouth. Very fun. Rich flavor of caramel, rye, tasty malts with complex, well-balanced hops. Yum. Close to a barley wine to me.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear amber with a yellowish off-white head. Citrusy hops are all I get in the aroma except maybe a touch of caramel. Flavor is led by a strong combination of grapefruit and pine, backed up by some sharp rye malt flavors with a bit of a soapy flavor. Strong and lasting bitterness.

Bottle shared by Kan, thanks! Poured a near clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipated quickly. Aroma was full of rye with a bit of underlying spice and alcohol. Flavor was full of rye as well but overall it just come out a bit one note. I wish the hops would have been more present to really round this beer out.

22oz bottle. light brown color, off-white aroma, definitely a nice touch of grape juice / red fruits, malty, Belgian yeast in the abbey style. flavors, yeasty, grape, abbey style Belgian yeast, also get hints of caramel and chocolate. The whole blend of grape along with the abbey style is just perfect. I thought this was going to turn into a big sour grape fest, and everthing came out nicely balanced.

On tap at Datz Deli in Tampa and courtesy of thejohn. It pours clear deep copper with tan head. The aroma is roasty malts, caramel malts, figs, apples, spices, mild assorted fruity sweetness and yeasty spices. The taste is rich in flavor with roasted malts, sweet maltiness, some assorted yeasty and otherwise spiciness and then drying up in the finish with the help of a modest level of roasted malt astringency.

Bomber from I forgot where. Pours a dark ruddy amber with a low foamy beige/tan head. Aroma seems grapey with a malt background. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted malt with some yeast/spice and either fruit or herb. I can’t yet get concord grape, so I must have gotten the aroma wrong. This thing is definitely Belgian. The doppelback apparently just makes it a sweetish Belgian. It finishes pretty balanced, and more fruity than it started. My tongue is getting coated with something that might come from concord grape skins, but it’s hard to say. Definitely a different brew.
