Picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 28th May 2026 listening to Emily Pilbeam sitting in for Huw Stephens on 6Music, we're listening to Round Table tonight. Pours hazy yellow with a decent white head, slightly foamy. Nicely bitter and drying on the finish. There is little bit of grapefruit initially but then it sits back and there's some resinous touches, not as malty as a real classic American West Coast IPA, but it's got a more modern, clean feel to it. Good. Score: 7.6

Bière bue en pression chez Amère à Nantes. Robe bien trouble, typique du style, avec une mousse fine et persistante. Nez très expressif sur les fruits tropicaux (mangue, ananas), avec une belle fraîcheur. Attaque douce et bien juicy, portée par un fruité généreux et une amertume parfaitement intégrée. L’ensemble est équilibré, soyeux, avec une belle rondeur en bouche. Finale aromatique et gourmande. Un vrai régal !

(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 5 Dec 2025) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, caramel, vanilla and black coffee. Malty, roasted, sweetish taste with notes of chocolate, milky coffee, caramel, vanilla, a touch of brandy and a mild roasty bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Strong, rich and heavy, still quite smooth and in good balance. Very nice.

Fruity, herbal taste with flowers, hay, bread, yeast, lemon peel and a mild herbal/citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Refreshing, with a good saison character. Very nice.

Bottle shared, very lively pour but it's also quite old. Clear golden with some floaters. Quite some white grapes, lemon zest, soft vanilla oak, sweet malts, a touch of cream and gooseberries. Medium seeet, light sour and bitter. Medium bodied. Quite good!
