this has a nice body and some clean hop taste. is good for the price. Not too complex though, i dont think sarnac has mastered the EPA yet. . .

Oh boy, Im thinking. this is going to be disgustingly sweet. BUT, it wasnt. very subtle berry notes and SURPRISE actually has some body and bitterness to it. VERY impressed with this one.

had this is the bottle. Very malty with some hop presence. Must have not poured it right, as I got almost no head. have to try again. Bartender served it to me ice cold, so i dont think that helped. Pleasant drinking beer though. Rerate 2004 bottle. Awful. Watery, one flavor of light choco-caramel. Weak and boring. Drainpour. This is not a dunkel, or schwarzbier or bock or anything. It’s a crappy, cheaply made brown ale.

I like this beer alot. A very bitter chocolate malt stays throughout after being picked up right away. Very complex. surprising from the sarnac line.

a true mediocre beer!!! and since i need to say something about it, it has too dry a taste for me. A little caramel flavor kind of makes it interesting. I wouldnt call this beer very bitter though. mainly just some malty/hoppy tones.
