Single bottle from Binny’s, 1/14. I get to give this one its "ranking." Malty, sweet beer smell under the cap. In the glass, there’s short fizzy head, and kind of a cheap lager smell. Taste is a little thick in the mouthfeel, which does notch it up a bit. It’s okay; not the Spotted Cow killer they’re claiming to be, just a little too sweet. After their many wilder brews on tap and in limited bombers, I guess they want to zero in on some basic beers to go to stores every day.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a cold, rainy, dreary late December evening after having to get my car out of the repair shop. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma doesn’t have much going on, light yeast and wheat. Taste is nice, dryish finish, unexpected bitterness for the style, overall it’s pretty good.

Bottle @ Steve’s Foco. Thanks Steve! Black appearance with a thin brown head. Coconut, dark chocolate, sweet caramel in the aroma. Moderately sweet with some heat. Chocolate brownies, coconut, bourbon, and brown sugar flavor. A little boozy but otherwise nice.

12oz bottle. Macro-ish tastes, funky garbage tinged off aroma. Someone who drinks macro beer would probably enjoy this a lot, but it is a pretty shabby beer for most on this site. A pinch better ingredients, but significant less quality control. Definitely one I won;t buy again.

12oz bottle. Hoppy wheat/ White IPA. Orange body, foamy white head. Big brewhouse malt aroma, almost has what I would consider an Imperial Pils feel in that regard. Rather unique, sort of occupying the odd realm between White IPA and Imperial Pils. Interesting flavor profile, but a little bit of a boozy, malt liquor feel too...doesn’t incorporate/hide the alcohol well. Soapy orange hop tones. OKish. Anndiesel noted that there is a hint of rye.

16oz pint at The Map Room pours a clear orange gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has mild candy, a little yeasty, some orange, some mild herbs, mild soap. Flavor follows, mildly sweet, hints of spice, orange, mild candy, mild straw, mild honey. Sort of a Gumball Head rip off.
