Sample many thanks to Danlo! Pours pale gold, faint mist. Thin white ring atop. Aroma brings distinct quince to the fore, a touch woody. Taste is all about the quince, oily on the palate with tart fresh citrus, woody splinters, with delicate leafy green apple notes. Quite nice.

Sample, many thanks to Danlo! Pours a murky golden white. Can't ever recall describing a perry like that before. Aroma brings fleshy perry pear, not too vibrant. Taste is crisp on the palate, with lovely perry pear nuances creeping through, medium dry with a subtle fruity character. Not bad.

Sample, many thanks to Danlo! Pours a pale golden yellow. Aroma of dry apple fruit, winter orchard. Taste presents a natural wild feel, dry apple fruit, dandelion with a gentle acidity. Ok.

Sample, many thanks to danlo! Clear gold appearance. Aroma brings light perry, drying air. Very fine spritz with a gripping acidity on the palate with soft underlying tannin. Fairly dry perry character overall, gentle fruitiness, moderately sweet, expected a little more perry pear character shining through, perhaps a unique German variety, but it's a little timid, pleasant overall tho.

Sample, many thanks to danlo! Pours a generally clean, oily gold. Aroma brings light caramel, stewed apple. Fine, almost soft natural carbonation. Tart introduction with a pleasant medium dry character, natural wild acidity with crisp apple skin notes. Finishes dry. Not bad.

Sample, many thanks to Danlo! Pours gold, very lightly unclear. Aroma presents gently rich apple, oaky. Soft carbonation lifts a moderate acidity, medium dry apple fruit.. barrel-aged influence seems quite tame, but overall it's a pleasant medium dry more at tune with English styles than German apfelwein.

330ml bottle from Kertelreiter. Pale golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of funky pear. Taste is sourish, solventy vinegary funk, pear, fruity, some acidity. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour funky finish. Quite drinkable.

330ml bottle from Kertelreiter. Murky pale yellow colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of fruity pear. Taste is fruity, pear, fleshy, alittle woody, mellow, some light tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium finish. Quite drinkable.

Taste is tart, tangy, fruity apple, some meaty funk and fleshy, pulpy notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Interesting, quite drinkable.

330ml bottle from Kertelreiter. Slightly hazy golden colour, white foamy head that dissipates, and aroma of straw, apple, quince, some funk. Taste is tart, tangy, apple & quince, citric acidic, some wood, vanilla and straw notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable.
