My can (bought in Norway, ABV 4,8%) says 'Premium Irish Beer', but surely this must be more or less the same thing?? An easily drinkable ale, perhaps not all that much character, but good, GOOD (not great). I don't hate nitro cans, but would like to sample this one on tap. (Maybe I have, without noticing....) Rerate: ABV 4.2% version, 440 ml can says "Premium beer" but this is clearly the same stuff, just a little more watery version. Very smooth.

Excellent pour that started out butterscotch-colored then settled into the more typical Ale hue. Creamy almost to a fault, as there was not much of a beer flavor to it at all. Slightly tannic, and overall the flavor does not live up to the looks.

I can't believe what I'm reading. You could pump nitrogen through tap water and make it smooth. So what? Real smoothness should be attained with lagering, yeast selection, mashing, etc. You want smooth - try Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout, or Gale's Festival Mild off the cask. Now that's smooth the way it should be.

I usually don't like these nitro injected beers (aside from Guinness of course). This is an exception - instead of being overly creamy, with the milkiness masking any beer flavor, this one has a good hoppiness that cuts through, similar to Yards Brawler...but better.
