Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear copper. Aroma brings out lightly tart red currants and medium sweet honey nectar. Flavour reveals the bright red currants upfront, with medium sweetness. Nicely constructed, with lots of red currant sweetness on the finish. Very good.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear rusted red with a small beige head. Aroma is quite earthy, with sherry-like oxidation, with cardboard and brown sugar. Flavour is bone dry, with earthy oaky notes, light wildflower honey, and oxidation. Not a lot of depth, but it works.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out complex wildflower honey and alcohol. Flavour is intense, with lots of whiskey barrels, orange blossom, and wildflower honey. Complex and richly layered. Fantastic.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear yellowish blonde. Aroma brings out earthy wildflower honey, with light oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with an earthy honey and some wildflower honey. Earthy and treacly. Great stuff.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde. Aroma brings out lots of earthy coffee and subtle vanilla. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy coffee, vanilla and intense honey sweetness. Even more complex than the Kamasumatra. Exquisite.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out lots of fresh earthy coffee, with the honey taking a backseat. Flavour is along the same lines, blending the coffee beautifully with the heavy sweet honey nectar. Cohesive and wonderfully balanced. Wonderful.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany. Aroma brings out all sorts of pith fresh berries and medium sweet honey. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh raspberries and pithy cherries. Heavy sweetness without being cloying. Complex and warming. Excellent.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear blonde. Aroma is on the drier side, with oak and subdued bourbon. Flavour reveals more of the bourbon and vanilla than the nose suggests, with alcohol and heavy sweet honey nectar. Not as complex or revealing of the vanilla as the Wicked for some reason. Interesting.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear blonde. Aroma reveals the spicy ginger upfront, with subdued notes of vanilla and bourbon. Flavour is heavy on the bourbon and vanilla upfront, with just subtle undertones of ginger. Silky and oily, with beautiful complexity. Excellent.
