On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a hazy blonde, no head. Nose brings out light earthy rye, with some whiskey barrels, and sharp, dry, acidic apples. Flavour is intensely complex, with lots of dry, acidic apples, apple skins, oak, and earthy rye. Complex and well-balanced. Excellent.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a clear blonde, no head. Nose is intense, with uncompromising scotch barrels, booze, wildflower honey, and dry apples. Flavour is unusual, with smoky, peaty whiskey, followed by subtle wildflower honey, and crisp apples. Smoky, dry and boozy. Not a drink of refinement, but it's complex and wonderful to drink.

Bottle: Poured a clear burgundy color mead. Aroma of honey, residual sugar notes with some light oak notes and some fruity notes are also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of fruity notes with some blackberry notes with some oak and sweet honey notes. Enjoyable mead with nice level of complexity.

Buttery grape nose. Clear purple. Pinot noir grapes, very wine-like. Plum and blackberry, relatively dry. Medium body, velvety mouthfeel. Too much like wine.
