Cask at Batemans Visitor Center and Pub, Wainfleet, Lincs. Just called Lincoln Red, but same beer. Pours dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, chocolate, treacle, slight herbal and price notes, and quite subtle blackcurrant. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Favourite of the 5 they had on tap on this visit.

Cask at Batemans Visitor Center and Pub, Wainfleet, Lincs. Pours pale gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, flowers, grass and straw. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Not bad.
