Bottle. Bottled 16/07/2018, rated 02/02/2025, so 6.5 years old. Color: clear amber, big off-white head. Aroma: Brett funk, some leather, fruity notes of yellow fruit. Taste: Dry, Bretty, some leather, starting more malty and finishing with a combination of malt and floral hop, lighty peppery and lightly yellow fruit hints. Medium body, below average carbonation. Bone-dry mouthfeel at finish. Nice ageing.

330mL bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with a large foamy white head. Spicy Belgian yeast and sweet esters on the nose. Flavour has great Belgian yeast expression, gentle estery sweetness, burnt caramel, dried herbal grass, and a bitter finish. High carbonation. Excellent.

(Bottle, Poechenellekelder, Brussels, 19 Oct 2024) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with dark bread, apricots and erthy yeasty aromas. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of bread, dried orange peel, apricots, earthy hops, a mild acidity and a balanced earthy/spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Complex, but really well balanced. Very nice.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness, online. Drank 2 months after bottling Pours a murky amber with moderate sized white head Aroma of yeasted candied peel and pineapple, caramel. Its very dry and brett like with a champagne like carbonation. Lots of candied fruits and caramel. I like it, its very different, but I don't love it. Maybe its one that's better aged.

Bottle:A special orange-colored abbey brew that tastes very dry and hoppy. Certainly this is a classic in the beer world.
