Bought this bottle at De Bierkoning, attracted by the ’smoked pecan porter’ deScription, but it did not live up to its price tag. It was just a regular porter, with only a slightly different bitterness in the aftertaste that resembled pecans.

You more or less do not need a dessert if you get a hand on this one. Floating crème brule. A good cake or some ice cream would company this one really well.
Almost complete blac pour with a big fluffy beige head. Nice intensity in the aroma. Medium + body. Actually a bit lighter than expected. Nice mellow sweetness. Crème brule, coffee, toffee and vanilla are the most dominant flavors. Easy drinkable and well masked alcohol.

New rating: Bottle at home. Exp date: 04 MAR’17. Clear golden with honey-like hue and a thin clear white head. Sweet caramel malts, loads of marijuana flavored hops but not extremely bitter. Sweet exotic fruitiness, peach, and lot of pine resin. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Full body, velvet smooth mouthfeel, very slick texture with some light chalkiness. Soft carbonation and amazing sweet honey-like finish. Oh man! This is so nice, like sucking honey from a tit. Shit is crazy tasty. I was wondering if my old rating would hold up, but I’m actually raising it with 0.1 out of pure joy.. Old rating: From tap at Uiltje Bar. Knoepert van een hopbom. Wachten op de mannen. Score: 8/3/8/4/18 : 4.1 Backlog from 2015/04/22.

Impressive! Bitter, but not too much. Very hoppy, but the different hops balance nicely. Pineapple in the aftertaste.

Draft @ beertemple. Aroma of soft roast and nuts. Taste is mild, with soft roasted malt, mocha and some bitter licorice. No nuts though.

Nutty, but could use more smoke.
