Bottle at home. Aroma is peat, roasted malt, rich dark chocolate, whiskey, oak, caramel, tobacco, bit smokey, salty liquorice, slight hint of chilis. Flavour is medium sweet with plenty of roasty dark chocolate bitterness. Body is medium to full. Very nice, peated but not too heavily peated for my taste, though I prefer the base beer.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is dark malt, strong booze, peaty notes, some smoke, notes of dried dark fruits, roast, oak. Flavour is sweet and boozy. Body is full, quite heavy. Nice heavy sipper, though a bit too boozy for me to crave a full bottle of this stuff.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Rich chocolate cherry dessert cake vanilla aroma. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Body is full. Reminds me of some of my favourite Omnipollo dessert Stouts, though this is not as rich and smooth. Still, a great delicious dessert beer!

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is big roasty coffee, mocha, espresso, roasted malt, touch of chocolate, more coffee allround. Flavour is potent grindy coffee bitterness. Body is medium to full, a bit creamy. Nice one, a big treat for this coffee enthusiast!

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is dark roasted malt, chocolate, mild coffee, some cherries yes, but where’s the cinnamon? Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Body is full. Good roasty chocolate-y Stout with a touch of cherries.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is dark malt, roast, bit fruity, subtle orange, notes of chocolate. Flavour is mild sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium to full. Not as much orange as I’d like, but it’s still a very good fruity Stout.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is chewy dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter. Body is full. Not the most extreme or complex, but lovely smooth and drinkable, good balance.

Bottle at home. Aroma is quite fruity, loads of apricots, peach, yeasty, big floral, candy, touch of tropical fruits. Flavour is pretty sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Too bad about the heavily candied sweetness as I dig the big stone fruit aroma.

Bottle at home. Aroma is highly concentrated hops, tropical fruits, massive hops, pine resin, grassy notes, hop oils. Flavour is very bitter. Body is medium. So intensely überhopped that the hops don’t yield the most aromatic qualities, it’s mostly intense bittering hops and grassy fruity notes. Interesting, and enjoyable, but like the 25 grams this proves that shit upon shitloads of hops do not automatically translate to a great beer. Now the 21 grams, that was a pretty excellent IPA...
