La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie, creme caramel, albicocca, resinoso e pompelmo.

Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, spezie, curry, vaniglia, mango e frutta tropicale.

Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è velato. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona e diffusa. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, frutta secca, resina, agrumi, rabarbaro, ciliegia, cherry, vaniglia e alcol presente.

Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is bitter sweet tropical fruit esters, grass, melon, papaya.
Taste comprises pineapple, sweet edge malts, grass, papaya, cantaloupe melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juice laden hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA if a little stuck in 3rd gear.

0.33 l bottle from 'Beerdome', best before October 2034. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, stable, brown head. Sweetish-malty, fairly smoky-medicinal, gently roasty aroma of peat, iodine, dark chocolate, licorice and some coffee. Rather sweet, malty, fairly roasty, heavily smoky-medicinal taste of dark chocolate, licorice, hard roasted coffee, roasted hazelnut, peat and iodine, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious brew, heavy, intense and saturating.

Bottle at De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht. Aroma is sweet dried fruits, figs, dates, chocolate, dark malt, oak, raisins, leather. Flavour is sweet and a bit boozy, alcohol is noticeable. Body is full. Rich and complex beer, very enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Aroma is strong peat, coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, oak, whiskey, liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet with some roasty bitterness in the finish. Slighty boozy, heavy. Body is full. Very heavily peated, but leaves some room the roast, coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate to add dimensionality. Very good.

Bottle at home. Aroma is leafs, tea, some anise, hops, quity malty, herbal notes, spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Good use of aniseed in this beer and nicely leavy/herbal hoppy. Enjoyable!

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweet cocoa, dark chocolate, dark roasted malt, coffee, hint of dark fruits and liqourice, a slight touch of chili pepper towards the end. Flavour is medium sweet with a nice roasty bittersweet finish. Body is full and somewhat creamy. Not extreme in any way, but very rich and well-balanced. Delicious chocolate-heavy Stout.
