33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Very deep brown ruby colour with thick lassting beige head. Almost quad like really, I agree with thewolf. Some very good choc notes. Some fresh chestnut flavours, with some hazelnut in there as well. Alcohol isn’t noticeable. Really rounded and extremely impressive beer. The aroma of malt and nuts really is quite exquisite. I am really quite impressed with this and definitely accentuated my listening to the Kookaburra EP from the Cocteau Twins.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and blonde foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly bready malty aroma with citrus, a sourish lambic-character in the wings and a touch of barnyard/Brett. Moderately sourish flavour with a light but balancing malty sweetness, medium bodied with a pleasant and well-matured carbonation. Successful mix of slightly hoppy Triple elements and a present Lambic-character, rounded up with fruity and tolerable, if not rounded spicy notes. Very pleasant (21.IV.09).

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a huge and dense foamy white head. Light-sweet, moderately malty aroma with yeasty fruity notes of citrus-/lemon, also a bit zesty, accompanied with floral hops and coriander spice. Sweet-bitter flavour with a light level of acidity, full bodied with a sparkling mouthfeel. Pale malty, minimal grainy taste with a moderate t light fruit-character; moderately sweet and malt-accented finish with coriander spice and rather delicate and slightly floral hoppy notes. A bit sweet but nevertheless likeable Tripel (21.IV.09).
