Bottled. Clear rubym, creamy head. Papery nose. Sweetish with plenty of dusty cardboard, some dates and salt. Near full bodied with compact mouthfeel. Fruity and lightly vinous, but cardboard prevails.

33cl bottle. Blonde color, with a thick white head. Aroma is yeasty (barnyard) and honey sweetness. Taste is lightly fruity, spicy with honey/herbal tingly felling on the palate. Remains sweet with possibly some sugary malts. Yeasty with the fermentation that give it the typical strong Gueuze note. An excellent baance between sour and sweet.

Pours magnificent with a strong large head, hazy golden color and visible carbonation. The dome head and visible carbonation looks awesome. A barnyard and lacto aroma mix beautifully with doughy sweetness. Then comes fruity tart berries and a touch of spoiled tangerine. Taste is perfect amount of gueze (light barnyard with light un-citic lemon) and lightly sweet Tripel. A slightly tingling mouthfeel and then it goes down as if nothing. Amazing combination of dough sweet and sour with neither overpowering the other, great melding and balance.
33cL bottle in the Vicardin Tripel Gueuze tulip @ De Heeren van Liedekercke on 5/19/08.
