Description
Libertine Brewing Company was founded in 2012 on the premise of bringing the best beer selection to the Central Coast, while brewing unique beers and products to compliment. With a strong emphasis on tradition while still being authentic to our region, we have grown from a small brewpub on the water in Morro Bay, to a 9000 square foot production and tasting facility on the edge of downtown San Luis Obispo. All of our Wild Ales are brewed and transferred into an open-top coolship overnight, which allows the local wild yeasts of our area time to naturally fall in and start the fermentation process, giving our beers a true Central Coast Terroir. Along with Wild Ales, we also make cold-brewed coffee that is aged in bourbon and wine barrels and spiced with local ingredients foraged from the surrounding hills.

C & Corked 750 shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a transient beige/tan head. Aroma is a pleasing lightly sour fruity. Med body. Flavor is coffee, wood, chocolate, and some fruit. Flavors aren’t overpowering. The sour is very mild. Easy to drink. Nice.

750ml bottle. Cloudy, bordeaux colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, pink-ish head. Pronounced raspberry aroma displays the full spectrum of fruity, tart-ish, sherbet-like, leafy, and earthy aspects, minimally funky undertones in citrusy urinal cake direction. Taste is sour, fruity, slightly tangy, notes of raspberry, fruit acid, a touch of raspberry vinegar; additionally a minimally funky and oaky touch in the finish. Well carbonated, very refreshing.
