Gravity dispense at the Miners’ Arms Summer Beer Festival, St Werburgh’s Bristol 6/8/07. Bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of grassy hops and hay. Flavour started sweet before the hops kicked in. Marred by a strange aftertaste which reminded me of cigarette ash.

Dark copper colour beer with a fair amount of head. Malmty aroma. Biscuity, malty flavours, perhaps just a little salty. Tastes fairly strong, alcohol-wise. Quite a good beer, perhaps just a one-pinters, though. Definitely different from the norm.
